Tarek’s career began at General Electric, where he developed a strong foundation in strategic finance and cross-border operations across Europe and the US. Tarek advanced to senior finance leadership roles at Vodafone Group, serving as CFO in both the UK and Africa, and later became CFO for Mastercard’s Middle East & Africa region, overseeing finance, risk, strategy, and M&A across 55 countries.

Most recently, as CFO of Majid Al Futtaim Ventures, Tarek drove a 30% annualized EBITDA growth and an 8-point margin improvement by leading finance transformation and business strategy for the group’s ventures division.

Now, as Managing Director and Executive Partner at eBound, he advises clients across the Middle East and Africa on finance transformation, M&A, tax optimization, and operational excellence.

Tarek holds a Master’s in Finance and Accounting (CPA focus) from Keller School of Management, New York, and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering. Known for his hands-on approach and strategic insight, he is trusted by organizations seeking expert financial leadership and sustainable growth.
